Doonbeg Railway Cottage is located in a quiet and scenic area near Doonbeg in County Clare, Ireland. The legendary West Clare Railway once passed the cottage, but is gone new...so nothing but the song of birds in the morning will disturb your sleep! Doughmore Beach and the Golf Links Course are in walking distance.

Golfers will be mostly be attracted from nearby Doonbeg Golf Course, but there are more fine courses in short driving distance. Doughmore is also well known for its excellent Surfing conditions. The 2km long beach is popular with walkers, riders and anglers as well. Safe swimming is possible on a variety of beaches in Doonbeg, Kilkee, Quilty and Spanish Point, among others.

The Cottage is renovated and refurbished with country style furniture, wooden floors and beam ceilings. Besides the cosy old style atmosphere you may expect all the modern conveniences to assure for comfortable and enjoyable holidays...

The house has 4 bedrooms (1 en-suite) for up to 7 people. In conjunction with Doughmore House next to the cottage groups of up to 15 people can be comfortably accommodated.
